SteelSeries Siberia v3 Gaming Headset Review
Gaming is all about the sound effects. I used to play games with ordinary headsets and enjoyed a lot until I came across special gaming headsets. One of the best headsets that I have ever come across is the SteelSeries Siberia V3 headset. This headset made me realize the difference between an ordinary headset and a gaming headset. When I played the game with it, I could hear the voice of the game as if it were happening around me. It helped me improve my gameplay. The Siberia V3 can be compared to a lower end version of the STRIX or the GAME ONE.
It is a lightweight headset. It has a new flexible design that comes with a self-adjusting headband. What I like about its design is the superior suspension system. With this suspension system, the headset is so light that you will never even feel you are wearing it.
I found the ear cups quite soft. The foam surrounds the ear, giving a comfortable gaming experience with the best sound effects. Unlike many other headsets which hurt the ear after an hour of gameplay, this does not hurt at all.
Another design feature which attracted me is the retractable microphone, which can be hidden easily when you don’t need it. I also liked the fact that it has a microphone mute switch at the back of the left ear cup.
The only design flaw that I found on this headset was that there are no volume controls. Even though it is not hard to adjust volume from the PC, many gamers like to adjust the volume via their headsets.
One of the best features of the SteelSeries Siberia V3 headset is the audio quality. With its SteelSeries speaker drivers and new acoustical chamber, it delivers the best sound quality. This new technology integrated into the headset offers more sound detail than ever before.
With its new tournament-grade soundscape technology, I experienced every small sound made in the game; this is how it improves the gaming experience. The more sound details you get, the better your actions.
With its 3.5mm plug, it works on all sorts of audio ports including PC, PS, smartphones, Mac, and Xbox.
The SteelSeries Siberia V3 headset gives the optimum performance. I tested the headset with the most extreme volume settings as well as the faintest volume settings. Both settings worked fine and gave the best sound details of the game.
I tested the headset with Metro: Last Light and I could hear the tunnel attack quite clearly, making it easier for me to react. It improves the overall gaming performance.
Furthermore, it is a durable headset and is certain to last for a long time.
