Corsair K95 RGB Gaming Keyboard Review

The Corsair Gaming K95 Mechanical Keyboard gives an exceptional gaming performance with its 18 dedicated macro keys. With the wrist rest, you do not have to worry about getting tired of playing. With a plethora of features and customization options, the K95 gives you the best gaming experience ever. It does not support USB passthrough, but gamers know that it is not a necessary inclusion for gaming. The K95 comes from a Corsair gaming keyboard line making it very similar to the K40 and the K70.

The design of the Corsair K95 RGB Gaming Keyboard is impeccable. The size of the keyboard is 19.7 x 6.5 x 0.9 inch. The size is large, but the wrist rest is removable, which makes it compact. It has a total of 134 keys alongside the Cherry MX mechanical key switches.

It has a brushed metallic aluminum finish. This solid metallic body makes it last longer. The keys are soft to press, which makes it one of the most comfortable keyboards to use for gaming. The wrist rest also has a smooth finish which improves the gamers’ performance.

The keyboard comes with rainbow lights. Every key on the keyboard is backlit and you can set a different color for every key.

One of the design flaws that I noticed is that the G-keys are placed very close to the shift key on the left side. I am an experienced gamer and still I have to be careful to hit only the G-keys and not the shift key.

I found the 100% anti-ghosting feature with 122 full key rollover quite useful. With this feature, you can press all the keys used in the game and still not experience any lag. It helped me play every game with precision and ease.

Another thing that I loved about this keyboard is the 18 G-keys. All of these keys are easily programmable. You can create a set of 54 presets and combos quickly and activate these combos with a single keystroke. This keyboard uses the Cherry MX red switches, which have a very low actuation force, making them ideal for games.

The onboard memory feature is excellent. Using this feature, you do not have to worry about using the keyboard on any computer. Saving the settings in different profiles allows you to play every game on every computer with your personal settings.

The keyboard also has a built-in window lock key. I found this very handy as it locks all the Windows commands while playing the game.

With the 122 key rollover and 18 G-keys, it gives the ultimate performance. The MX red switches ensure no matter how hard or softly you press the keys, you will never miss a shot. The performance is not a problem at all; no matter what game you play, it will never let you down. This keyboard is perfect for MMO gamers where they need the ultimate precision. The keyboard does not lag even after hours of gameplay.
