Not only has it been an absolute winner in several Mouse score competitions, it also has many raving gamers across the globe. The major style addition to this iteration is the subdued, easy-to-customize lighting system that places the Chroma above and beyond the levels of competition. As with every other Razer gaming products, this mouse is designed to provide amazing performance and features for playing games. In fact, it is the kind of mouse that anyone could love.
Design and Features
The Razer DeathAdder chroma shares similar specifications just as the typical Razer DeathAdder – 5 x 1.73 x 2.76 inches (L x H X W). It is a five button mouse with the standard right, left, programmed forward/backward and middle wheel buttons. Each of the buttons provides sufficient tactile feedback so you can be sure to press it without offering too much opposition. The action of the buttons is fluid and smooth, making it comfortable to use. Furthermore, its onboard sensor is a 3500 DPI 3G infrared sensor, which gives the mouse a great response rate for high precision. The front part of the mouse is shaped into a concave, normal “W” shape that enable perfect amount of finger space while doing an excellent task of supporting the palm without debilitating the wrist. The mouse’s feet make it easy for a smooth slide over almost all surfaces, and it feels perfectly balanced for optimum dragging. You need not worry about slipping with this mouse, as it is made out of a nicely textured hard plastic with grippy rubber on the sides, as well as the scroll wheel. The backside of the mouse can be configured with Razer Synapse, allowing you to customize the color of the mouse, and change the LED lighting to your preference. You can also set the light to be pulsing, or to change colors.
The mouse performs extremely well. With it’s high DPI sensor giving it insane precision down to the pixel and the very small response rate giving gamers a quick reaction time with the mouse, it really feels like it is the ultimate mouse. Although it doesn’t have many buttons for MMO style gaming like the Razer Naga, it does still have a few programmable buttons on each side similar to the Taipan.
This mouse does not necessarily need the proprietary Razer drivers to work however should you have a challenge with the installation , all you need is to go online , find the correct driver and install that first on your PC. Afterward, hit the restart button and now you should be able to get the Razer DeathAdder chroma mouse working as well. The Razer DeathAdder Chroma is not revolutionary or a huge improvement over the earlier entries in the DeathAdder series, but it is a great essential mouse for individuals who desire to have the quality, comfort and accuracy of a gaming mouse
